GO’ MY SHRUBBERY!

I developed these illustrations to work through my own struggle with self acceptance as a gay man. This project is directed toward a young adult audience of those struggling with their own sexuality and/or identity. I was inspired by the many diverse stories shared in the book, First Person Queer, and wanted to create a visual representation of my own story. I hope to continue recording written thoughts and painted images, building toward a book about forwarding self acceptance and the acceptance of others.
