NBA WITHOUT BORDERS PROGRAM POSTERS

I created a series of four poster designs for the NBA’s Basketball Without Borders program. This program serves as a global outreach to give exposure and assistance to international players. My project promotes the program by illustrating now famous athletes who came though it. As an illustrator it was really inspiring to celebrate the cultural diversity that has grown within basketball as it has grown into a globally celebrated sport. To do this, I took inspiration from historic and cultural art styles of the players' countries of origin and incorporated them using elements of my own artistic style of rendering.
