THE RIFT

This is a fantasy comic in which the protagonist feels an inexplicable pull from deep inside a dark abandoned cathedral that she explores out of compulsion. My concept is based on the call of the void phenomenon, and ego dystonic intrusive thoughts- which are thoughts that are opposite to one’s self/moral concept. As the protagonist explores this place, she finds a mysterious portal, which is the source of the protagonist’s pull toward the cathedral.
